Mroczynski, Sherry Leanne

Mroczynski, Sherry Leanne
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Sherry Leanne Mroczynski (nee Sullivan), on December 2, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family at home. With the grace of a butterfly, Sherry’s courageous battle with cancer came to a peaceful end. Born in London Ontario, March 16, 1983, to mother Susan Peloquin (Dale) and father Gerald Sullivan, she grew into the most loving person imaginable. Letting her dreams take flight, Sherry landed in the arms of her loving husband Brian Mroczynski, with whom she shares three most prized and precious children, her heart and soul, Zackary (10), Ronan (7), and Alana Mroczynski (5). Sherry also leaves behind, her forever idolizing sister, Marlaina Sullivan (Matthew). She will be forever remembered in the hearts of her in-laws; Derek Mroczysnki (Jasmyn) and her nephew Grayson, in the hearts of Steven Mroczynski (Tammy), her nieces Chloe and Sonia, as well as in the hearts of her father in law Richard Mroczynski (Ginette, predeceased). Fondly and respectfully remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, and her dearest of friends, the family she chose for herself, her memories will live on. Sherry’s passion for caring for others shone brightly, especially evident in the love she gave her three precious children above all. Being a fashionista, one of her most prideful accessories was her necklace which hung nearest her heart, each pendant birthstone specific symbolizing each of her children. She was a loving and dedicated wife to Brian, whom with the help of her sister Marlaina, close family and friends, cared for her until the very end, a true honor contributing to her peaceful passing. Family was always her first priority, and helping others was certainly her calling in life. Furthermore, Sherry gave back to the community she so loved as a dedicated and compassionate nurse for thirteen years before being forced into early retirement. A career she loved whole heartedly with a special appreciation of the elderly. Sherry’s hobbies included decorating no matter the occasion or changing season. St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween being two of her favorites, she always rose to every occasion with joy! She was also passionate about music, you could often find her singing and dancing around her home or while out for a drive. She loved to cook for family and friends, often putting a spin on recipes to make them her own, especially her favorite squash dish. In final conversations, Sherry spoke some very meaningful words to live by. Some of which included simply, “Don’t sweat the small the stuff.” Sherry had a strong admiration of Monarch butterflies specifically and they brought meaning to her through their symbolism of reincarnation and eternal freedom. May she be remembered at the site of butterflies, hearts, stars, moons, mountains, shamrocks and all things beautiful in life. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who contributed to her care, giving her strength, and furthermore supporting her family at this difficult time. To commemorate Sherry’s passing, a Memorial Mass will be held at St. John’s Church, 255 Church Street, Garson, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited downstairs to the church hall for a luncheon. In lieu of charity donations, the family asks that donations be made to support furthering her three children’s education and supporting their walk-through life in her absence.

  3. My deepest condolences goes out to all who are experiencing the loss of such a beautiful person. She was the cool girl that lived up the street from me, hair always done, make outfit and accessories always perfectly coordinated. Never a hair out of place! I will never forget how comfortable I felt whenever I was around Sherry; she just had this genuine niceness about her. Even as we met up again later in life when our kids attended school together, that same vibe never left her presence. Always smiling, always happy to chat and catch up, a hug no matter how long its been since we last spoke. I’m going to miss you my friend.

  7. I admired my sister in law Sherry. Not only was she incredibly beautiful to look at, her soul was pure and it was kind. She was unapologetically herself. Exuded so much strength. So full of knowledge and shared the wealth. A wonderful and loving mother to her 3 children. Was so dedicated to her family. She fought for her life like I had never seen. She inspired me so.

I will always cherish the memories…

I feel so privileged and honored to have been able to be present during her final days. Thank you Brian and Marlaina.

    ❤️ I love you Sher ❤️
