Macdonald, Kelly

It is with heavy hearts that the Macdonald family announces the peaceful passing of Kelly Anne Macdonald, after a long, strongly fought battle with cancer on the morning of September 12, 2016. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Anna Marie (Christopher) and Jamie. Sadly missed by her partner Richard Peacock. Loving daughter of the late John and Clare Macdonald (O’Brien). Beloved sister of Andrew (Lorna) (children – Tyler and Shannon), and Mary K (daughter – Hannah). In keeping with Kelly's wishes, her memory will be celebrated with only her immediate family. Interment of ashes will be at the St. John’s Cemetery in Garson with her late parents. Kelly showed throughout her entire life that she was the strong-willed, loving, caring and independent woman that we all knew and admired. There was no greater proof of her perseverance than throughout her amazing battle with cancer. Her memory and example will live on in all of those who have been touched with her presence.

  4. Rick, Anna and Jamie. Rose and I are very sorry for your loss. We liked Kelly very much and will always be remembered. She is one of the toughest women I’ve ever known and I’m glad we had a chance to be her friend. I’ve known Kelly since I was 13 years old and I can say she had never changed and was a solid person in all ways. She will be missed but never forgotten.
