Lanteigne, Jean Claude

In Loving Memory of Jean Claude Lanteigne, 84, who passed away Thursday, August 27th in Sudbury. Adoring and devoted husband of 63 years to Irene, his partner, his soul mate. Life will not be the same without him. He leaves a void in the hearts of his 7 children – Samaya, Louise, Janet, Mary Ellen, Joe, Lisa and Adam – who loved him more dearly than words can express. Proud Grandfather of Samantha, Matthew, Nicholas, Kathleen, Niamh, Jasmine , Vanessa, Zena, Jordan, Abigail, Isabelle and Anastasiya. Grandpa will be cherished in their hearts forever. Claude (JC) had many occupations throughout his life, from miner to builder to horseman, but most enjoyed his career as a committed and passionate math teacher, who retired after 35 years of teaching, from MacDonald Cartier. He touched the lives of many – he was a kind, sweet, genuine and gentle man who will be missed more than he could have ever known. As per JC’s wishes he will be cremated (after a least a day….as he always said…”just in case!”) and there will be no visitation or service.
