It is with heavy hearts we wish to announce the passing of Ray Henrik Laine on November 20, 2015 at the age of 50. He is survived by his loving partner Saralee Keskinen. Cherished son of Antero and Terttu Laine. Beloved brother of Ari (Tanya Laine), Brian (Tammy Laine) and predeceased by his brother David (Lisa Hutchinson). Ray will be sadly missed by his dogs Shadow (his little bear) and Misty. He also leaves behind nephews Andrew, Hayden and Adam. He will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada as well as Finland. Employed at the City of Sudbury, he was a hardworking and dedicated man. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and was an all-around great outdoorsman. Ray will also be missed by his many friends in Sudbury, across Canada and the USA. A Celebration of Ray’s life will be held at the Lockerby Legion; 2200 Long Lake Road on Friday November 27th starting at 2:30 p.m. Family, friends and co-workers are welcome to join us to share memories and stories of Ray's life.
