Keller, Ronald

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Ronald Keller, 65 years, on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Health Sciences North. Beloved son of Madeline (née Ettinger) and the late Howard (Al) Keller. Forever loved by his children; Shawn Keller (Monica) and Lindsay Villeneuve (Ryan). Cherished grandfather of Logan, Jayna, Ryder and Bodhi. Dearly loved brother of Penny Keller, Kim Keller (Mike), Brian Keller (Janice) and Keith Keller (predeceased). Ron will be sadly missed by all including his canine friend “JAX”. A very well-known and respected Small Engine Mechanic in the Sudbury area for many decades, his knowledge, skills, strong work ethic and “tell you how it is” personality defined him. If he liked you, he would give you the shirt off his own back, and if he didn’t like you, you’d know that too. He will be truly remembered for his undeniable love of his grandchildren and the outdoors. In keeping with Ron’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will take place at a later date. Donations in his memory, can be made directly to the Northeastern Cancer Foundation.

  3. My heartfelt condolences to Ron’s family at this very difficult time.

I worked with Ron for 17 years and I feel like I have lost a family member. He was always there for me when I needed my oil checked or air in my tires. Being the same age, we would complain to each other about our health and upcoming retirement. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all here at Industrial Fabrication.

    Rest in peace Ron.

  5. Ron was an extraordinary friend and co-worker since the day I meet him in August of 2008. He was an exceptional mechanic, one that you would trust to fix anything mechanically that no one else could fix. Ron would give the shirt off his back if you were his friend. I have fond memories of our fishing trips to Manitoulin Island. Ron had an awesome sense of humor, incredible inner strength and certainly was an inspiration to us all.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family during this very difficult time.
You are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.
    God Bless,
    Dante Frescura
