It is with heavy hearts that the family of Raymond Giroux announces his passing on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Health Sciences North at the age of 74. Born in Sudbury to the late Aumé and Rose (Gauthier) Giroux. Loving brother of André, Jean Pierre (Carole) and Normand-predeceased (Dorothy Gustasson). Cherished uncle of Joel, Ariane, Mitch and Janice. Sadly missed by many cousins, relatives and friends. As per Raymond’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
Raymond is my birth father. I had no contact with him since I was 6 years old (1976). I missed him and through his now late brother Andre, tried to keep an eye on him. Now he’s at rest and it’s up to our heavens to watch over him. I am hoping uncle Jean Pierre will reach out and say hello to me, because I miss him too.
