It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the peaceful passing of Olive “Nanny” Gendron (née Fleury), 87 years at Extendicare Falconbridge on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Gendron. Loving mother of Randy Gendron (Donna), Tammy Dorval (Danny) and Bonnie Houle (Todd). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Luke), Karry (Ian), April (Jodie), Amanda (Brad), Roxanne (Jimmy), Crystal (James), Holly-Anne (Brian), Tyler (Karen) and of her great-grand babies. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Born in Chichester, QC she was the daughter of the late Onisapher and Annie (Gagnon) Fleury. A very much loved and respected mother of three whose focus in life was her family for whom she took great pride in all of their accomplishments. A devout Catholic, she was blessed with strong values that formed the basis of a rich legacy of love and devotion to all. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. In keeping with the family’s request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Olive’s memory at Paroisse St-Joseph, 3594 Errington Ave, Chelmsford on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Cremains to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Church after 10:30 a.m.
