In Loving Memory of Linda Garbutt (nee Skelton) who passed away at Health Sciences North on Saturday, March 3, 2018, surrounded by the love of her family and following a courageous battle at the age 70. Daughter of Lawrence and the late Muriel Skelton (nee Moore). Beloved wife of Bill Garbutt for 53 years. Loving mother of Theresa Paquette (Leon), Kim, Ross (Tracy Lochschmidt), Tammy (Gene Castonguay) and Mike. Proud grandma of Nathalie Giroux (Jon), Julie Gauthier (Marc), Stephanie Paquette, Kris (Keely Gow), Linda Greening (Brandon Payne), Danny Greening (Tina Placido), Ty, Michael, Dylan, Kayla Breault (Mathieu Ouellet) and Jessica Breault, Noah, Zachary and Sarah. Cherished great grandma of Caleb, Chanelle, Easton, Rylan, Nixon, Lexi, Max, Zayden and Olivier. Dearly missed and survived by her sister Hope (Dave) and brothers Bill (Madeline), Paul (Sharon), Gerard (Terry), Rick (Edith), Danny (Dolly) and Brian. Predeceased by her siblings, Kathleen, Dennis, Barry, Tim and Ray. Linda will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Saturday May 19th, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Leon and Theresa's residence. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
This is a very loving and supportive family. I know this will be difficult for you, and I wish you strength and peace as you grieve the loss of a very special lady. She was so fortunate to have been surrounded by so much love. I’m so sorry, for your loss.
