Davies, James “Beaver”

It is with great sadness that the family of James Davies “Beaver” announces his sudden passing at home on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Dear husband to Joanne Davies (nee Moyle). Loving father to Wendy MacKinnon and Todd Davies. Born in Niagara Falls, ON, James was the son of the late Victor and Elizabeth Davies and son in law of Lena Moyle (Vern). Predeceased by his only sister Betty Stratford (Don) and survived by his brother in law Dennis Moyle. Cherished papa to Kade (predeceased 1994), "moochie" Dakota, "little ladybug" Ali and "little monkey" Jade. A retired INCO employee, Beaver enjoyed golfing and drinking his vodka! He will be sadly missed by his closest friends, Dave True, Lorne Green and Ron Roussel, as well as many others, including his "Dwana". He is now reunited with his other close friends, Jim Armstrong, Bear and Doug Milne. Very well known and liked by many. Beaver will be remembered for his humour, wit and his down to earth personality! At Beaver's request, there will be no visitation or service. A private family celebration of Beaver’s Life will be held.
