  2. My sincere condolences to the family. I met Mme Chauvin on many occasions (unfortunately many of them funerals of family members). She was related to my mother Carmelle (nee Lafreniere). We had just been in Lavigne the weekend of 22 June to bury my mother’s ashes and I had noted Rita’s absence, and had hoped that all was well with her.
She was a kind, sweet lady who obviously held family near and dear to her heart. I always enjoyed talking with her. I know she will be missed. God keep her, and God keep all of you well.
