In loving memory of Léo Carrière, 88 years who passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his residence. Beloved husband of the late Jeannine Carrière (née Desbiens). Loving father of Deborah Hart (Bob), Cléo Carrière (Carole), Fern Carrière - predeceased (Barbara), Jeannette Redner (Ray - predeceased), Rachelle Lachance (Aurèle), Pauline Beauregard, Denise Fex (Dennis), Monique Gascon (Rhéal), Raymond Carrière (Beverly) Réjean (predeceased) and Geätan (predeceased). Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Tara, Caroline, Roxanne, Raymond, Steven (predeceased), Linda, Roger, Claire, Lianne, Léo, Geätan, Christine, Paul, Eric and Renée. Léo will also be missed by his 20 great - grandchildren. Beloved brother of Liliane Raymond (predeceased), Noëlla Bertrand, Laurence Carrière (predeceased), Aurel Carrière, Laurette Remillard, Wilfred Carrière, Bertha Pilon, Maurice Carrière, Rita Prudhomme, Lorraine McCormick, Doris Carrière (predeceased) and Laurent Carrière. Born in Hanmer to the late Frank and Germaine (née Lacoste) Carrière. In keeping with Léo’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Léo’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Valley Est Lion’s Club 4611 St Joseph’s St. in Hanmer from 1-8 p.m.

My sincere sympathies to the Carriere family, who is also my second family. You all have great memories of Dad/Pepere and remember he will always be near you. He was such a kind and hardworking man. Your father was a great dad and I could see how much he loved you all and especially the grandchildren. I pray that you will have the strength you need to get through this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. – He loved his Jeannine so much and now he is gone to join her.
