Brabant, Valerie Ramond (nee Grenon)

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of our beloved Valerie Ramond Brabant (Grenon) on Thursday, September 13, 2018. She fought hard during her courageous battle with brain cancer. Beloved wife of Lionel Brabant together for 48 years. Loving mother of Daniel Brabant (wife Susie). Cherished grandmother of Taylim, Brayden and Dylan Fournier who was a big part of her life and who she raised as her own, Scotty and James Tremblay and Danica Thompson. Born in Sudbury, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Jeanne (née Gallien) Grenon. Valerie was the baby of her family and a proud sister of Gilies (predeceased), Leo (predeceased), Loretta Denise (née Grenon), Diane Huard (née Grenon). She will be sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren and great grandchildren. Valerie was a volunteer driver for Red Cross for over two decades. She enjoyed relaxing outside on her swing and spending time with her family. With an appreciation for the outdoors, she loved spending time working in her stubborn flower garden but was also an avid reader who loved her Stephen King novels and was also known for her collection of salt and pepper shakers. WE LOVE YOU VALERIE, MAY THE ANGELS FROM ABOVE GUIDE YOU TO PEACE AND HAPPINESS FOR ALL ETERNITY. In keeping with Valerie’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
