Barbeau, Julie

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of our beautiful wife, mother and precious baba, Julie (Bohush) Barbeau on Friday, April 14, 2017. Married 65 ½ years to Maurice Barbeau. Lovingly remembered by her children, Louise (Peter) Block, Marc (Jacquie) Barbeau, and grandchildren Chris (Elisa) Block, Tiffany Block, Liza (Matt) Parker, Maggie Turpin and Isaac Barbeau. Survived by her sister Nellie (William – predeceased) Storozuk. Predeceased by her brothers Mike, Fred Bohush and by her sister Mary (Andrew) Sebulski. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Julie married Maurice knowing he was a salesman, away on the road often and she’d be required to raise the family and manage their home. Independent, hard working, artistic and creative in many different areas, she was a woman of many talents. She was a great life coach to her children and grandchildren. She led by example. Whenever needed, she was always there. Her pride of family and in her house and cottage was surpassed by her joy of grandchildren she could never cook enough for them. She was so proud of all their accomplishments. She leaves a legacy of love and will be greatly missed but always in our hearts. At Julie’s request, there will be no visitation. Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

  5. Not often enough do two people get to spend such a long and wonderful life together. Not often enough do children get to experience and watch their parents spend such a long and full life in love. I know she will be missed dearly, and for that I am truly sorry…but I want to make certain we celebrate her life…it was a rich and full one.
